The biggest reason I started this blog and got on Twitter is that it is time to fix some misconceptions. I hear people say things about the NWA not being an active organization—-that somehow a company like ROH is the “third-biggest” wrestling organization in the U.S. Now, don’t get me wrong, I respect ROH, they do some great stuff. But they run maybe, maybe, 4 to 6 shows a month. Total. The NWA membership runs that almost every week. This weekend, for example. Tonight, in Surrey, British Columbia, there’s a three-way dance for the NWA Canadian Heavyweight title between champ Scotty Mac, Sid Sylum, and Juggernaut. The next night, the ECCW crew moves down the road to Vancouver, with an NWA Canadian Tag Team title match.  Saturday in Ft. Pierce, Fl, Pro Wrestling Fusion has an all-out war for the NWA North American title between the champ, El Gran Apolo and the Middle Eastern Madman, The Sheik. That card also features top notch talent like TJ Perkins and the Dark City Fight Club.

San Francisco will see Pro Wrestling Revolution’s unique blend of lucha and catch wrestling, with great wrestlers like Shocker, Oliver John, and Alissa Flash. NWA Supreme in Mattoon, IL will have a killer cage match main event between The Hooligans and The Hybrids. And, last but not least, NWA East puts on their monthly head-banging good time in McKeesport, PA, with Ashton Amherst v. Ryan Mitchell for the NWA East title, Brandon K, James Ross, and the rest of the crew.

That’s SIX SHOWS IN ONE WEEKEND. And it’s like that every week. If you think the NWA is not out there, on the cutting edge, bringing you the best new talent out there, you’re not looking closely. So….I’m going to push it out there further. We’re going to be all over the net, starting now. You’ll see matches, hear interviews, read results, and more, from every corner of the NWA.
